Dublin Schools

All Schools in Dublin are actively recycling their bottles, cans, and paper. Many are also collecting food scraps and other organic materials from their lunch areas. Through these efforts, many Dublin schools have been able to significantly reduce the amount of waste being disposed of in local landfills, saving money and reducing their environmental footprint in the process.

How AVI Can Help Your School

If your school is interested in starting, expanding or improving your recycling or composting program, we’re here to help. AVI can support your school’s environmental efforts in a number of ways, including free technical assistance, and possibly even helping your school obtain complimentary indoor and outdoor recycling and food waste containers for your campus (see below for a list of AVI services available to schools).

School Food Scrap/Compost Program

Did you know that in Dublin schools, lunch waste represents the single largest source of trash (by volume) generated on campus? Many of Dublin’s public schools are already taking advantage of AVI’s school food waste collection program, which includes free collection service, containers, program setup and ongoing technical support.
